Status and mandatory rights
Version 1.1 dated August 23, 2026. The product supplier, licensor, and data controller is MARK PUOLAKAINEN, an individual operating under the Baro brand. Address for legal notices: Kalevipoja tn 10, 13625 Tallinn, Estonia. Paddle accepts payment as Merchant of Record. Current installers are published without an Authenticode signature, with a clear warning and SHA-256 checksum; automatic updating with unsigned files is disabled.
The Paddle entity named at checkout and on the receipt handles refunds as Merchant of Record. This policy does not reduce mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
Voluntary 14-day refund
Baro voluntarily supports a full refund of the first BaroMedia Pro purchase when requested within 14 calendar days after the transaction. No reason is required. The guarantee does not cover a repeated request for a transaction already refunded and, to the extent permitted by law, may be refused for verified fraud, abuse, or manipulation of the refund process. These limits do not affect mandatory buyer rights.
Start the request through the Paddle support channel shown on the receipt or email support@baro.ee. Include the purchase email and order number. Baro will forward or confirm the request, and Paddle as Merchant of Record will execute the refund under its process.
Digital content and withdrawal
Where the law provides a withdrawal period, it applies in full. The right may be lost after immediate digital supply only when every mandatory condition is met, including separate prior express consent and acknowledgement from the buyer. The technical ability to download or activate the product does not replace that consent.
Defects and non-conformity
If the product does not match its description or work on a stated supported system, the buyer may first request a fix. Where a fix is impossible, not supplied in time, or the law allows an immediate remedy, a price reduction or refund applies. Mandatory digital-product guarantees remain available.
After a refund
Once a refund is confirmed, the server immediately marks the order as refunded and revokes the online entitlement and license. New activation and successful certificate refresh become unavailable. Because a perpetual license does not require a constant connection, an already activated offline copy may technically learn about revocation only at its next successful sync. The right to use ends on refund, and the user must stop using the product and delete local license copies.
User files and order records
A refund does not delete or block the user's source videos or projects. Financial history, the refund event, and minimal licensing records remain for accounting, prevention of accidental re-fulfilment, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.
Timing and disputes
After approval, Paddle sends funds back through the original payment method; the bank and payment network determine when they arrive. Where possible, contact support@baro.ee before starting a chargeback if an ordinary request remains unresolved. Rights to contact a payment provider or competent authority remain unaffected.
