Terms of sale

Version 1.1 dated August 23, 2026. The product supplier, licensor, and data controller is MARK PUOLAKAINEN, an individual operating under the Baro brand. Address for legal notices: Kalevipoja tn 10, 13625 Tallinn, Estonia. Paddle accepts payment as Merchant of Record. Current installers are published without an Authenticode signature, with a clear warning and SHA-256 checksum; automatic updating with unsigned files is disabled.

BaroMedia is the product and developer brand. The product supplier and software licensor is MARK PUOLAKAINEN, an individual operating under the Baro brand. The Paddle entity named at checkout acts as Merchant of Record and seller of record for the payment transaction: it collects payment, calculates and remits applicable taxes, issues payment documents, and handles legally required refund requests.

Questions about the product, account, license, privacy, or refunds can be sent to support@baro.ee. Messages from noreply@baro.ee are automated and should not be replied to.

The product page shows the base price in EUR. Before payment is confirmed, Paddle displays the complete amount, currency, applicable tax, transaction seller, and available payment methods. An order is accepted after successful payment and Paddle confirmation; a success page without a verified webhook does not create a license entitlement.

The buyer must provide an email address they can access. Account sign-in, order confirmations, and license messages are sent to that address.

BaroMedia is digital content. After confirmed payment, the entitlement and license appear in the account and the installer is provided through the download page. Supported Windows versions, architecture, download size, functionality, and limitations are published on the download page and in documentation before purchase.

Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law are not limited by these terms. If a buyer asks for immediate supply of digital content, checkout must separately obtain any legally required prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal may be lost once performance begins. If valid consent is not obtained, statutory rights remain available.

In addition, Baro voluntarily supports a full refund of the first BaroMedia Pro purchase when requested within 14 calendar days after the transaction. The practical process and a limited exception for verified fraud or abuse are described in the Refund Policy. A request can be started through Paddle or at support@baro.ee.

A BaroMedia Pro purchase includes a personal perpetual license for the stated generation and all minor updates in that generation. Generation 1 includes releases in the 1.x line. A future 2.x generation is a separate optional purchase and does not disable a lawfully acquired 1.x version.

• One owner and two concurrently activated personal computers.
• Self-service deactivation of an old device from the account.
• First activation and recovery are online; normal use then relies on a signed local certificate without a hard offline timer.

Sign-in uses a one-time email link or code. The buyer is responsible for access to the email account and must not share sign-in links, app tokens, or license data. Suspected compromise should be reported to support@baro.ee.

Mandatory digital-content conformity guarantees and rights to repair, replacement, price reduction, or termination apply as required by the buyer's law. Nothing in these terms removes those rights. Support contact and current service availability are published on the Support and Status pages.
