End-user license agreement

Version 1.1 dated August 23, 2026. The product supplier, licensor, and data controller is MARK PUOLAKAINEN, an individual operating under the Baro brand. Address for legal notices: Kalevipoja tn 10, 13625 Tallinn, Estonia. Paddle accepts payment as Merchant of Record. Current installers are published without an Authenticode signature, with a clear warning and SHA-256 checksum; automatic updating with unsigned files is disabled.

The BaroMedia licensor is MARK PUOLAKAINEN, an individual operating under the Baro brand, with an address for legal notices at Kalevipoja tn 10, 13625 Tallinn, Estonia. Paddle processes payment as Merchant of Record but does not become the application developer.

By installing or activating BaroMedia, the user accepts the EULA version shown before purchase or download. A person acting for an organization confirms authority to accept the terms, but the launch personal license is not a team license.

The licensor grants one owner a limited, non-exclusive license to install and use the purchased BaroMedia generation on two concurrently activated personal computers. One reasonable backup of the installer and local license data is permitted for recovery.

The purchased-generation license does not expire unless ended by refund, chargeback, or material breach. First activation and recovery require connectivity. A signed certificate then permits launch without a hard offline expiry; a successful server sync is authoritative for current license status.

Generation 1 includes compatible 1.x releases, including security fixes and minor features. Moving to 2.x is optional and does not disable 1.x. A particular update may depend on supported Windows and hardware requirements published in its release notes.

Users may not publish or share keys and tokens, bypass the device limit, provide personal-license activations as team seats, remove technical protection, tamper with license signatures, or use the product unlawfully. Compatibility research and acts expressly allowed by mandatory law are not prohibited.

Ordinary account sharing, sale of individual activations, and splitting the two device slots are prohibited. Where mandatory law permits transfer of a perpetual license, contact support@baro.ee. The entire license must be transferred; the previous owner must stop use, delete all copies, and deactivate devices. BaroMedia may require information needed to change ownership securely.

An approved refund or chargeback ends the license and revokes the server entitlement. The user must stop use and delete local certificates and copies even if an offline installation can still launch before its next sync. For another curable material breach, the licensor provides a reasonable opportunity to cure unless the law permits immediate termination.

A purchase transfers a right to use, not copyright ownership in BaroMedia. Third-party and open-source components may carry separate notices and licenses; those terms govern the corresponding component if they conflict with this EULA.

BaroMedia includes unmodified FFmpeg and FFprobe executables that are invoked as separate processes and distributed under the GNU Lesser General Public License version 3. Baro does not claim ownership of FFmpeg. The LGPLv3 text is included with the installation, and the corresponding FFmpeg source code and build scripts are available at baro.ee/downloads/source/ffmpeg/.

Mandatory digital-product guarantees and remedies remain available. The licensor does not exclude liability for intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any liability that cannot legally be limited. Commercial limitations do not remove mandatory consumer rights.

This EULA is governed by the laws of Estonia. Consumers retain mandatory rules and dispute options available where they live. Russian and English versions are intended to carry the same meaning; any checkout-designated version applies without reducing mandatory rights.
