Added
- IVF, MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 file opening; fallback dimension probing for TS files that VLC cannot identify before playback.
- Optimized playback is now an opt-in setting, disabled by default. Enabling it prepares a copy up to 1080p for A and 720p for B.
Fixed
- Fixed crashes on 10-bit AV1 by selecting the bundled dav1d decoder, without transcoding the original video.
- Verified real decoding of 16 codec/container combinations, including AV1, HEVC, VP9, ProRes, FFV1 and MPEG-2.
- Normal playback opens originals without preprocessing and preserves the original resolution of both video surfaces.
- 2560×1080 and 2560×1440 videos no longer trigger preparation merely because of their width.
- Preparation messages for A and B support English; stale notifications from previous files are ignored.
- Repeated opening, pause, seek, setting persistence and target-size export were verified with real video files.
Security
- Unsigned MSI files are still never installed automatically; file size and SHA-256 are published for manual verification.
Known issues
- AV1 uses software decoding; demanding files depend on CPU performance. Not every possible codec profile is guaranteed.
- Original 4K and A/B smoothness depends on the computer. Optimized mode reduces playback resolution; first-time preparation takes time.
